Hey there, friends! Hard to believe we are in the full swing of holiday season! In between gift shopping, wrapping presents, holiday parties, and eating all the delicious food, we often find ourselves reflecting back on the last year and thinking toward the future.
2019 has been quite a year for me! The year where I was able to take my business to a new level—from expanding my services and offerings, to learning new platforms, to engaging with clients across the world, to growing in my personal life, this year has been one for the books!
Reflection is an art. Sometimes we are so busy juggling the day to day life and responsibilities we forget about taking a minute to slow down, disconnect, and truly spend time with only our brain. Let’s face it- when do we have an extra 20 minutes to sit down and be quiet with ourselves to reflect?
I took some time to answer some questions as I am preparing my goals for the new year! In order to accurately engage with goal setting, I think it’s important to think back to the past year and figure out…What went well? What failed? What was easy? What was hard? What would you like to continue? To change?
I challenge you to take a moment to use the questions below to guide you through your 2019 reflection! This will help you set intentional goals for your business in 2020!
What went well in 2019?
What goals did you accomplish?
What did not go well in 2019?
What did you hope to accomplish that you were unable to?
What would you like to continue in 2020?
What would you like to change in 2020?
What did 2019 do for your business?
Summarize 2019 in one word.
Now that you’ve reflected, we will dive deep into goal setting for your business in our next blog post!
